The Silverstream Wellington Bridge project involved the construction of the Whakawhirinaki Pipe Bridge across the Te Awa Kairangi / Hutt River. This essential structure supports a 1-meter diameter steel pipeline that supplies water to Porirua City and North Wellington. The bridge also features walking and cycling pathways, making it a key addition to the region’s infrastructure.
